Short description: Khetee is a non-profit organisation in Bihar, India, that promotes sustainable farming practices through education and ecological agroforestry. They are dedicated to community development through ecological agroforestry, enhancing the livelihoods of local farmers while fostering environmental sustainability.

Main activities will include (but are not limited to): 

  • Community Engagement: Working directly with the local community to understand their needs and provide support.
  • Field Work: Participating in ongoing agricultural projects and contributing to hands-on activities in the field.
  • Skill Exchange: To enhance project outcomes, sharing knowledge and skills with the team and community members.

Specific information/requisites:

They are looking for a long-term volunteer (10 months) to go and help us in Durdih as an integral part of our team on the ground.

The role is 35-40 hours per week, with two days off per week and two weeks of holidays every 90 days for travel/visa runs.

We are flexible regarding starting dates but need at least 1-2 weeks’ notice.
